Note: On a network with one or more system, on the server, start the steps below.

  1. Open Task Manager> Press and hold Ctrl+ Alt+ Delete and then Click Start Task Manager
  2. Choose the Processes tab
  3. Click to More Details and then click to Details tab
  4. Choose Peachw.exe
  5. Choose End task or End process
  6. Choose w3dbsmgr.exe
  7. Click to End task or End process
  8. Close the Task Manager
  9. Press Windows+ R keys, on your keyboard
  10. Type SERVICES.MSC, and then click OK
  11. Right-click (PSQL) the Pervasive Workgroup Engine and click to Start
  12. Turn off the Services Window
  13. Check if Sage starts without a problem

  1. Close the Sage software
  2. Start the system
  3. Browse to the software Updates folder saved in the data path,
  4. Right-click on the recent Service Release like ptxa2018.2.0.exe
  5. Click Run as administrator

  1. Go to Task Manager > Click to More Details> Click Details Tab> and then End both w3dbsmgr.exe Process & Peachw.exe
  2. Click to Window Run > press and hold Windows+ R > enter SERVICES.MSC and hit Enter
  3. Right-click the option> Open Pervasive PSQL Workgroup Engine and check whether the error is fixed or not
