How to Resolve the Sage 100 Integration PVX Errors

Here, multiple options are provided to fix this issue-

Option 1: Run the Pvxcom.exe File

  • If you are using 32-bit servers, this file is located in ”C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sage\Common Components”
  • If you are using 64-bit servers, you will find this file in ”C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Sage\Common Components”

Option 2: Check if the Activate. PVX File is Corrupt or Missing

Firstly, you will need to make sure that the file “..\MAS90\Home\Lib\Keys\Activate.pvx” is present and you are able to launch the client from pvxwin32.exe

  • Go to “..\MAS90\Home” 
  • Do a double-click on the installation file named Pvxwin32.exe
  • The new ProvideX command prompt window will appear on your screen
  • Type RUN “Startup.M4P”
  • Press the Enter key 
  • Check if a login prompt is displayed
  • If needed, replace the Activate. pvx file with a valid copy

Option 3: Check the Security Permissions for Installing the Software

For the purpose of installation, please provide the users with the full control for share and security permissions to the mas90 folder. After the Sage software is installed, you can limit the permissions as per your need.

7. If you want to generate a Consolidated type of Report, you should own the Sage 100 Intelligence Connector module
