How to Resolve the Sage 100 Integration PVX Errors
Here, multiple options are provided to fix this issue-
Option 1: Run the Pvxcom.exe File
- If you are using 32-bit servers, this file is located in ”C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sage\Common Components”
- If you are using 64-bit servers, you will find this file in ”C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Sage\Common Components”
Option 2: Check if the Activate. PVX File is Corrupt or Missing
Firstly, you will need to make sure that the file “..\MAS90\Home\Lib\Keys\Activate.pvx” is present and you are able to launch the client from pvxwin32.exe
- Go to “..\MAS90\Home”
- Do a double-click on the installation file named Pvxwin32.exe
- The new ProvideX command prompt window will appear on your screen
- Type RUN “Startup.M4P”
- Press the Enter key
- Check if a login prompt is displayed
- If needed, replace the Activate. pvx file with a valid copy
Option 3: Check the Security Permissions for Installing the Software
For the purpose of installation, please provide the users with the full control for share and security permissions to the mas90 folder. After the Sage software is installed, you can limit the permissions as per your need.

3. Choose the Report To Be Imported (along with the .al_extension) and click on Open
4. Under the Import Report window, Choose the Target Connection (that is, The Connector)

5. The most used connection is the Sage MAS (Auto connect). If you are importing a 6. Consolidated type of report or need a consolidated report, select Sage MAS Consolidation by clicking on the Target Connection drop-down box
7. If you want to generate a Consolidated type of Report, you should own the Sage 100 Intelligence Connector module
8. Choose the Report Destination (that is, the folder) under the drop-down list
