• Run the downloaded exe file as an Administrator, right-click on the file downloaded and selects Run as Administrator.
• Check your windows login user name if it has administrator rights or not, if not assigned then assign the administrator rights to your user name.

Deactivate User Account Control

User Account Control often restricts Sage installation by blocking certain permissions. Modify the User Account Control settings as per the steps below:

For Windows 7:

1. Click the “Windows” icon and look for the option “User Account Control Settings”.
2. Click the “Change User Account Control Settings” option.
3. Shift the slider to “Never Notify”.

For Windows 8 & 10:

1. Click the “Windows” icon, then look for the “User Account Control” option.
2. Next, click the “Settings” option.
3. Select “Change User Account Control Settings” now.
4. Change the slider depending on preference.
5. To save the changes, click the “OK” button.

Note: Deactivating UAC erases installation limitations and enables Sage to install properly.

Run Exe File as Administrator (UAC)

Admin rights are needed for software installation. Here are the steps to run the installer as Administrator:

1. Head to the “Downloads” folder.
2. Select “Run as Administrator” by performing a right-click on the Sage installer program.
3. Finish the installation procedure.
