• Navigate to the Control Panel
• Choose Windows Firewall. 
• If you get an error message stating that the Firewall Service cannot be started, click on the Start button on the keyboard
• Now click Run. Alternately you can press WINDOWS KEY+R.
• type CMD in the Run window and press ENTER.
