If the Sage 50 error 1722 is Due to an Issue with Windows Firewall
🔹 Navigate to the Control Panel
🔹 Choose Windows Firewall.
🔹 If you get an error message stating that the Firewall Service cannot be started, click on the Start button on the keyboard
🔹 Now click Run. Alternately you can press WINDOWS KEY+R.
type CMD in the Run window and press ENTER.
🔹 Now type “Rundll32 setupapi,InstallHinfSection Ndi-Steelhead 132 %windir%\inf\netrass.inf”
🔹 Press ENTER to proceed
🔹 Go to Windows Control Panel again
🔹 Now click on Windows Firewall. You will get a message saying that the service is not started but you have the option to start it.
🔹 Go to the command prompt and type “Netsh firewall reset”
🔹 Press ENTER.
🔹 Click Start
🔹 Go to Run
🔹 Type “firewall.cpl” and press ENTER.
🔹 The Windows Firewall dialog box will pop up
🔹 Click On and click OK.
🔹 Next, start the Windows Firewall service.
🔹 Finally, restart the Sage 300 CRE installation.
If the Sage 50 error 1722 is not Due to an Issue with Windows Firewall and Java is Installed
🔹 Navigate to Control Panel
🔹 Uninstall the Java program
🔹 Go to www.java.com/en
🔹 Download Java
🔹 Next, install Java by following the on-screen instructions
🔹 Restart the Sage 300 CRE installation.
If the above Methods do not help Fix the Sage 50 error 1722
🔹 Navigate to Control Panel
🔹 Uninstall the MS .NET framework installed on your system
🔹 Go to http://www.microsoft.com/net/downloads
🔹 Locate and download the version of MS .NET you uninstalled
🔹 now, install .NET
🔹 Restart the Sage 300 CRE installation.
