Steps for eFiling 1099s and 1096s
Here are the sequential steps to e-file 1099s and 1096s in Sage 50 –
A. Select the Proper Form
- Click on Employees & Payroll
- Go to Forms
- Choose one of Federal Forms or Reports & Forms

- Select one from Select My Own Options or Complete 1099 e-filing Service
- To print the forms, tab on Select My Own Options
- Next, specify the forms you need to print
- Click Next to continue
- Check the selections made from the previous page
- Click Next.
- Choose the option you prefer for divider sheets
- Click Next.
- Click Next to Review Data.
- Click on the Next Step tab
- Click OK to continue
